Position Summary
The PCAFI is seeking a motivated and experienced Fundraising and Development Consultant to support the organization’s mission through strategic fundraising initiatives, corporate sponsorship development, donor cultivation, and grant support. This consultant will work closely with executive leadership and board members to strengthen the organization’s financial sustainability and expand its impact in supporting pastors, preachers, ministry leaders, and their families.

Qualifications
-
Proven success in nonprofit fundraising and development
-
Experience securing corporate sponsorships, major gifts, and donor partnerships
-
Understanding of faith-based nonprofit organizations and ministry-focused fundraising
-
Strong communication, relationship-building, and proposal-writing skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and board members
-
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Preferred Experience
-
Experience working with churches, ministry organizations, or faith-based nonprofits
-
Familiarity with grant funding and matching fund strategies
-
Demonstrated success in donor engagement campaigns

Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Sponsorship Development
-
Research and identify prospective corporate sponsors aligned with PCAFI’s mission and values
-
Assist in developing sponsorship packages, partnership opportunities, and funding proposals
-
Support outreach efforts to establish and maintain corporate relationships
Private Donor Cultivation
-
Conduct research to identify high-net-worth individuals and prospective major donors
-
Assist leadership with donor engagement and stewardship strategies
-
Help cultivate long-term relationships with private supporters and ministry partners
Grant Matching & Funding Support
-
Identify potential sources of matching funds to support grant opportunities
-
Assist in aligning fundraising efforts with grant requirements and organizational goals
Fundraising Strategy & Capacity Building
-
Assist in developing and implementing a 12–18 month fundraising strategy
-
Establish measurable fundraising goals and development benchmarks
-
Train board members and organizational leadership in fundraising best practices
-
Develop templates and tools for donor communications, sponsorship proposals, and outreach campaigns
Deliverables

Comprehensive fundraising and sponsorship strategy

Prospect lists for corporate sponsors and private donors

Sponsorship packages and outreach templates

Donor communication tools and stewardship recommendations

Monthly and/or quarterly progress reports​
